Daily head‐to‐head comparison of EXACT vs. CERT for early detection of acute COPD exacerbations. Both tools accurately identified exacerbations at diagnosis (AUC≈0.9), but CERT detected worsening one day earlier (p = 0.006). CERT's simplicity and free access support rapid patient self‐monitoring and may enable timely intervention.
