Thermal Processing Creates Water‐Stable PEDOT:PSS Films for Bioelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 13, April 2, 2025.
Instead of using chemical cross–linkers, it is shown that PEDOT:PSS thin films for bioelectronics become water‐stable after a simple heat treatment. The heat treatment is compatible with a range of rigid and elastomeric substrates and films are stable in vivo for >20 days.

Better Flow Estimation from Color Images

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, 2007
One of the difficulties in estimating optical flow is bias. Correcting the bias using the classical techniques is very difficult. The reason is that knowledge of the error statistics is required, which usually cannot be obtained because of lack of data ...

Ultra-wide FOV meta-camera with transformer-neural-network color imaging methodology

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics
. Planar cameras with high performance and wide field of view (FOV) are critical in various fields, requiring highly compact and integrated technology. Existing wide FOV metalenses show great potential for ultrathin optical components, but there is a set

Two Material Properties from One Wavelength‐Orthogonal Photoresin Enabled by a Monochromatic Laser Integrated Stereolithographic Apparatus (Mono LISA)

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 13, April 2, 2025.
A single object with dual properties – degradable and non‐degradable – is fabricated in a single print simply by switching the printing colors. The advanced multi‐material printing is enabled by the combination of a fully wavelength‐orthogonal photoresin and a monochromatic tunable laser printer, paving the way for precise multi‐material ...

Dual-color emissive OLED with orthogonal polarization modes

open access: yesNature Communications
Linearly polarized organic light-emitting diodes have become appealing functional expansions of polarization optics and optoelectronic applications. However, the current linearly polarized diodes exhibit low polarization performance, cost-prohibitive ...

Colorful monochromatic connectivity of random graphs

open access: yes, 2014
An edge-coloring of a connected graph $G$ is called a {\it monochromatic connection coloring} (MC-coloring, for short), introduced by Caro and Yuster, if there is a monochromatic path joining any two vertices of the graph $G$. Let $mc(G)$ denote the maximum number of colors used in an MC-coloring of a graph $G$.

Chip‐Scale Graphene/IGZO Cold Source FET Array Enabling Sub‐60 mV dec−1 Super‐Steep Subthreshold Swing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Super‐steep subthreshold swing (SS) below 60 mV dec−1 is demonstrated in graphene/IGZO cold source transistor arrays. Linear density of states with Dirac cone in graphene suppressed the Boltzmann thermal tail, while high‐k HfO2 dielectric having small body factor enhanced gating efficiency, hereby further reducing SS. An average SS of ≈46.4 mV dec−1 is

2D Co‐Mo‐Hydroxide‐Based Multifunctional Material for the Development of H2‐Based Clean Energy Technologies

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
2D α‐Co(OH)2 interleaved with Mo species displays an appealing dual functionality for the production and use of green hydrogen.Mo incorporation greatly benefits the electrochemical behaviour in Oxygen Evolution Reaction for H2 production, while the magnetocaloric response at liquid H2 temperature paves the way for alternative cryogenic refrigerants ...

Single-shot isotropic quantitative phase microscopy based on color-multiplexed differential phase contrast

open access: yesAPL Photonics, 2019
We present a single-shot isotropic quantitative phase imaging method based on color-multiplexed differential phase contrast. In our method, the illumination source is modulated by an LCD into an annular color-multiplexed pattern matching the numerical ...

Wavelength-scanning pixel-super-resolved lens-free on-chip quantitative phase microscopy with a color image sensor

open access: yesAPL Photonics
We report a wavelength-scanning-based lens-free on-chip microscope using a color CMOS sensor and a matching modified phase retrieval algorithm for pixel super-resolution. Compared to traditional monochrome industrial cameras, color sensors favored by the
