Responsive Monochromatic Color Display Based on Nanovolcano Arrays

Advanced Optical Materials, 2013
Novel nanohole arrays with volcano‐shaped holes (truncated cones) are reported to obtain structural colors with excellent purity without using index‐matching layers. They further show efficient sensitive environment responses. The novel structures are fabricated via a low‐cost, large‐area colloidal lithography method.

A Promising Multifunctional Deep‐Blue Fluorophor for High‐Performance Monochromatic and Hybrid White OLEDs with Superior Efficiency/Color Stability and Low Efficiency Roll‐Off

Advanced Optical Materials, 2021
High‐performance deep‐blue fluorescent materials matching the required Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage y coordinate value (CIEy) of < 0.08 are much‐needed in organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) for realizing the perfect application of full ...

Monochromatic Vertex-Disconnection Colorings of Graphs

Bulletin of the Malaysian Mathematical Sciences Society, 2022
Let \(G\) be a vertex-coloured connected graph (adjacent vertices can be given the same colour). A subset \(U\) of the vertex-set of \(G\) is said to be monochromatic if all the vertices of \(U\) are assigned the same colour. The graph \(G\) is said to be monochromatic vertex-disconnected if, for a two distinct vertices \(x\) and \(y\), there is a ...

A Multifunctional Bipolar Luminogen with Delayed Fluorescence for High‐Performance Monochromatic and Color‐Stable Warm‐White OLEDs

Advanced Functional Materials, 2020
Increasing exciton utilization and reducing exciton annihilation are crucial to achieve high performance of organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs), which greatly depend on molecular engineering of emitters and hosts.

A Simple Device‐To‐Device Transform for White Light‐Emitting Diode with Monochromatic Carbon Dots

Advanced Optical Materials, 2023
Currently, the fabrication of white light emitting diodes (WLEDs) strongly depends on white fluorescent emission materials. The conventional method, which is a direct way from the designed fluorescent emission material to the device, is regarded as a ...

Generating Color Scribble Images using Multi‐layered Monochromatic Strokes Dithering

Computer graphics forum (Print), 2019
Color scribbling is a unique form of illustration where artists use compact, overlapping, and monochromatic scribbles at microscopic scale to create astonishing colorful images at macroscopic scale.

Experimental evaluation of an image sensor-based VLC method using object detection DNN for monochromatic color images

Asia-Pacific Conference on Wearable Computing Systems
There is VLC (Visible Light Communication) technology that modulates and superimposes data signals on a signage image so that they are invisible to human eyes, and then receives data signals by capturing them with an image sensor, such as a smartphone ...

Partitioning Colored Point Sets into Monochromatic Parts

International Journal of Computational Geometry & Applications, 2001
We show that any two-colored set of n points in general position in the plane can be partitioned into at most [Formula: see text] monochromatic subsets, whose convex hulls are pairwise disjoint. This bound cannot be improved in general. We present an O(n log n) time algorithm for constructing a partition into fewer parts, if the coloring is unbalanced,
