Responsive Monochromatic Color Display Based on Nanovolcano Arrays
Advanced Optical Materials, 2013Novel nanohole arrays with volcano‐shaped holes (truncated cones) are reported to obtain structural colors with excellent purity without using index‐matching layers. They further show efficient sensitive environment responses. The novel structures are fabricated via a low‐cost, large‐area colloidal lithography method.

Monochromatic Vertex-Disconnection Colorings of Graphs
Bulletin of the Malaysian Mathematical Sciences Society, 2022Let \(G\) be a vertex-coloured connected graph (adjacent vertices can be given the same colour). A subset \(U\) of the vertex-set of \(G\) is said to be monochromatic if all the vertices of \(U\) are assigned the same colour. The graph \(G\) is said to be monochromatic vertex-disconnected if, for a two distinct vertices \(x\) and \(y\), there is a ...

A Simple Device‐To‐Device Transform for White Light‐Emitting Diode with Monochromatic Carbon Dots
Advanced Optical Materials, 2023Currently, the fabrication of white light emitting diodes (WLEDs) strongly depends on white fluorescent emission materials. The conventional method, which is a direct way from the designed fluorescent emission material to the device, is regarded as a ...

Generating Color Scribble Images using Multi‐layered Monochromatic Strokes Dithering
Computer graphics forum (Print), 2019Color scribbling is a unique form of illustration where artists use compact, overlapping, and monochromatic scribbles at microscopic scale to create astonishing colorful images at macroscopic scale.

Partitioning Colored Point Sets into Monochromatic Parts
International Journal of Computational Geometry & Applications, 2001We show that any two-colored set of n points in general position in the plane can be partitioned into at most [Formula: see text] monochromatic subsets, whose convex hulls are pairwise disjoint. This bound cannot be improved in general. We present an O(n log n) time algorithm for constructing a partition into fewer parts, if the coloring is unbalanced,
