Are Monochromatic Pythagorean Triples Unavoidable under Morphic Colorings? [PDF]
A Pythagorean triple is a triple of positive integers a, b, c $\in$ N${}^{+}$ satisfying a${}^2$ + b${}^2$ = c${}^2$. Is it true that, for any finite coloring of N${}^{+}$ , at least one Pythagorean triple must be monochromatic? In other words, is the Dio-phantine equation X${}^2$+ Y${}^2$ = Z${}^2$ regular?

Phonon nanocapacitor for storage and lasing of terahertz lattice waves
We introduce a novel ultra-compact nanocapacitor of coherent phonons formed by high-finesse interference mirrors based on atomic-scale semiconductor metamaterials.

Herein presented supraparticles combine the nanoparticulate photocatalyst graphitic carbon nitride with the enzyme horseradish peroxidase, which is immobilized on silica nanoparticles. In an optimized compatibility range, both catalysts operate effectively within the hybrid supraparticles and catalyze a cascade reaction consisting of the photocatalytic

Chromatic Polynomials of Mixed Hypercycles
We color the vertices of each of the edges of a C-hypergraph (or cohypergraph) in such a way that at least two vertices receive the same color and in every proper coloring of a B-hypergraph (or bihypergraph), we forbid the cases when the vertices of any ...

Defects Dynamic in Photo‐Excited CeO2 and their Influence on CO2 Photoreduction
X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy study under light excitation is presented to track the defect dynamic (Ce4+ to Ce3+) in CeO2. Surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy confirmed the key role of Ce3+ states in controlling charge and energy transfer across the CeO2‐dye molecule interface.

Red-blue clique partitions and (1-1)-transversals [PDF]
Motivated by the problem of Gallai on $(1-1)$-transversals of $2$-intervals, it was proved by the authors in 1969 that if the edges of a complete graph $K$ are colored with red and blue (both colors can appear on an edge) so that there is no ...

Thermal Phase‐Modulation of Thickness‐Dependent CVD‐Grown 2D In2Se3
A comprehensive study of CVD‐grown 2D In2Se3 reveals a distinct thickness‐dependent phase landscape and a reversible, thermally driven transformation between β″ and β* variants. In situ TEM electron diffraction and Raman spectroscopy reveal structural dynamics, while the structural invariance of the α‐phase in ultrathin regimes highlights its stability—

Monochromatic cycle covers in random graphs
A classic result of Erd\H{o}s, Gy\'arf\'as and Pyber states that for every coloring of the edges of $K_n$ with $r$ colors, there is a cover of its vertex set by at most $f(r) = O(r^2 \log r)$ vertex-disjoint monochromatic cycles.
