Encoding Monomorphic and Polymorphic Types [PDF]
Many automatic theorem provers are restricted to untyped logics, and existing translations from typed logics are bulky or unsound. Recent research proposes monotonicity as a means to remove some clutter when translating monomorphic to untyped first-order

Associations between polymorphisms in the growth hormone locus and reproductive efficiency in dairy cattle in Pujon [PDF]
Selection using genetic markers (MAS) is carried out in an effort to accelerate livestock breeding programs, through molecular studies individual superior livestock can be detected earlier so that the selection program can be directed and controlled ...

Molecular characterization of ginger genotypes using RAPD and SSR markers
Genetic diversity among ginger genotypes collected from different parts of the country was studied using molecular markers (30 RAPD and 55 SSR). Compared to RAPD primers SSR primers were efficient in distinguishing the genotypes.

The Occurrence of Malignancy in Trypanosoma brucei brucei by Rapid Passage in Mice
Pleomorphic Trypanosoma brucei are best known for their tightly controlled cell growth and developmental program, which ensures their transmissibility and host fitness between the mammalian host and insect vector.

k-Spectrally monomorphic tournaments [PDF]
A tournament is $k$-spectrally monomorphic if all the $k\times k$ principal submatrices of its adjacency matrix have the same characteristic polynomial. Transitive $n$-tournaments are trivially $k$-spectrally monomorphic. We show that there are no other for $k\in \{3,\ldots,n-3\} $.

Monomorphism and heterozygosity [PDF]
A myth about the relation between monomorphism and heterozygosity is dispelled: the observed relation provided no evidence for (or against) neutral mutations.

The Polymorphism in Various Milk Protein Genes in Polish Holstein-Friesian Dairy Cattle
The aim of the present study was to evaluate the genotype and allele frequencies of 24 polymorphisms in casein alpha S1 (CSN1S1), casein alpha S2 (CSN1S2), beta-casein (CSN2), kappa-casein (CSN3), and progestagen-associated endometrial protein (PAEP ...

Sexing Adult Pale-Winged Starlings Using Morphometric and Discriminant Function Analysis. [PDF]
Accurate sexing of birds is vital for behavioral studies but can be a real problem in the field, especially for monomorphic species. Our goal here was to characterize the morphology of male and female monomorphic pale-winged starlings (Onychognathus ...
