Compact Slit-Loaded ACS-Fed Monopole Antenna for Bluetooth and UWB Systems With WLAN Band-Stop Capability

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
A compact asymmetric coplanar strip (ACS)-fed monopole antenna is presented, which operates within the Bluetooth and UWB frequency bands with the capability to simultaneously reject the lower WLAN interfering band.

Periodic monopoles

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2005
This paper deals with static BPS monopoles in three dimensions which are periodic either in one direction (monopole chains) or two directions (monopole sheets). The Nahm construction of the simplest monopole chain is implemented numerically, and the resulting family of solutions described.

A Flexible and Bandwidth Reconfigurable Antenna for Cognitive Communication

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
This paper introduces a compact antenna with bandwidth reconfigurable and flexible characteristics for cognitive radio applications. The antenna consists of a monopole as a primary radiator and is excited by a coplanar waveguide to have a single-layer ...

Creation of a monopole in a spinor condensate

open access: yes, 2001
We propose a method to create a monopole structure in a spin-1 spinor condensate by applying the basic methods used to create vortices and solitons experimentally in single-component condensates.

BUSINESS COMPETITORS AND COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE [PDF]

open access: yesAnalele Universităţii Constantin Brâncuşi din Târgu Jiu : Seria Economie, 2013
The paper presents the concept of competition, both from the perspective of the economic sector –where it is characteristic for pure monopole, oligopoly, monopole competition and pure competition, as well asfrom the market’s point of view – where it ...

Monopole Condensates in Seiberg-Witten Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
A product of two Riemann surfaces of genuses p_1 and p_2 solves the Seiberg-Witten monopole equations for a constant Weyl spinor that represents a monopole condensate.

Spiked monopoles [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
Abstract We introduce the spiked monopole, which is a ’t Hooft-Polyakov monopole with two charged scalar Higgs fields, of which one enjoys a quartic self-interaction. The free Higgs field behaves as in a BPS monopole, reducing the inter-monopole repulsion. The other Higgs has a spiked profile similar to a non-BPS monopole.

Rewriting Polymer Fate via Chemomechanical Coupling

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces a life‐like “living” polymer platform that can grow, degrow, and reprogram its properties after fabrication. By integrating mass transport, reversible polymerization, and controlled catalysis, the material achieves on‐demand changes in size, shape, and mechanical properties.

Input Characteristics of Electrically Thin Dipole with Variable Radius Along Antenna Length

open access: yesEast European Journal of Physics
An approximate analytical solution to the problem of radiation (diffraction) of electromagnetic waves by dipole (monopole) with variable radius along antenna length is presented.
