Rewriting Polymer Fate via Chemomechanical Coupling

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces a life‐like “living” polymer platform that can grow, degrow, and reprogram its properties after fabrication. By integrating mass transport, reversible polymerization, and controlled catalysis, the material achieves on‐demand changes in size, shape, and mechanical properties.

Input Characteristics of Electrically Thin Dipole with Variable Radius Along Antenna Length

open access: yesEast European Journal of Physics
An approximate analytical solution to the problem of radiation (diffraction) of electromagnetic waves by dipole (monopole) with variable radius along antenna length is presented.

New hyper-Kaehler manifolds by fixing monopoles

open access: yes, 1997
The construction of new hyper-Kaehler manifolds by taking the infinite monopole mass limit of certain Bogomol'nyi-Prasad-Sommerfield monopole moduli spaces is considered.

Monopole operators in U(1) Chern-Simons-matter theories [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
A bstractWe study monopole operators at the infrared fixed points of U(1) Chern-Simons-matter theories (QED3, scalar QED3, N=1$$ \mathcal{N}=1 $$ SQED3, and N=2$$ \mathcal{N}=2 $$ SQED3) with N matter flavors and Chern-Simons level k.

Lattice monopole action in pure SU(3) QCD [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
We obtain an almost perfect monopole action numerically after abelian projection in pure SU(3) lattice QCD. Performing block-spin transformations on the dual lattice, the action fixed depends only on a physical scale b.

Photonics of Topological Magnetic Textures

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Localized noncollinear magetic textures imprint their geometry and topology onto traversing photonic fields endowing them with orbital angular‐momentum, chirality, and magnetoelectric densities. Abstract Topological textures in magnetically ordered materials are an important case studies for fundamental research with promising applications in data ...

A Multi-Reconfigurable CLL-Loaded Planar Monopole Antenna [PDF]

open access: yesRadioengineering, 2020
In this paper, multi-reconfiguration capabilities of a planar monopole antenna with two switchable capacitively loaded loops (CLLs), as near field resonant parasitic elements, are introduced.

Does the gravitomagnetic monopole exist? A clue from a black hole x-ray binary [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2017
The gravitomagnetic monopole is the proposed gravitational analogue of Dirac's magnetic monopole. However, an observational evidence of this aspect of fundamental physics was elusive.
