Charge-monopole versus Gravitational Scattering at Planckian Energies
The amplitude for the scattering of a point magnetic monopole and a point charge, at centre-of-mass energies much larger than the masses of the particles, and in the limit of low momentum transfer, is shown to be proportional to the (integer-valued ...

Detecting monopole charge in Weyl semimetals via quantum interference transport [PDF]
Topological Weyl semimetals can host Weyl nodes with monopole charges in momentum space. How to detect the signature of the monopole charges in quantum transport remains a challenging topic.

This study demonstrates a strain‐tunable anomalous Hall response in the (110)‐oriented FeRh thin film. First‐principles calculations reveal that strain‐induced symmetry lowering redistributes Berry curvature near the Fermi level via band shifts and avoided crossings.

Magnetic Monopole Mass Bounds from Heavy-Ion Collisions and Neutron Stars. [PDF]
Magnetic monopoles, if they exist, would be produced amply in strong magnetic fields and high temperatures via the thermal Schwinger process. Such circumstances arise in heavy-ion collisions and in neutron stars, both of which imply lower bounds on the ...

Noncommutative Coulombic Monopole
We have constructed the appropriate Hamiltonian of the noncommutative coulombic monopole (i.e. the noncommutative hydrogen atom with a monopole). The energy levels of this system have been calculated, discussed and compared with the noncommutative ...

QUANTUM NONABELIAN MONOPOLES [PDF]
We discuss quantum mechanical and topological aspects of nonabelian monopoles. Related recent results on nonabelian vortices are also mentioned.

Accelerated Discovery of Topological Conductors for Nanoscale Interconnects
Copper interconnects exhibit a sharp increase in resistivity at ultra‐scaled dimensions, threatening continued miniaturization of integrated circuits. The gapless surface states of topological semimetals provide conduction channels resistant to localization.

Monopoles and Spatial String Tension in the High Temperature Phase of SU(2) QCD
We studied a behavior of monopole currents in the high temperature (deconfinement) phase of abelian projected finite temperature SU(2) QCD in maximally abelian gauge.

Using Dopants as Agents to Probe Key Electronic Properties of Organic Semiconductors
Dopants are typically used in organic electronics to enhance conductivity, but here their potential is demonstrated as probes for fundamental material properties. By integrating experimental data and multiscale simulations, it is shown how dopant ionization and conductivity measurements enable accurate extraction of ionization potential and Coulomb ...
