Development and Test of a Miniature Hydrogen Peroxide Monopropellant Thruster
42nd AIAA/ASME/SAE/ASEE Joint Propulsion Conference & Exhibit, 2006Analysis of present and future missions concluded that a miniaturised hydrogen peroxide monopropellant rocket engine is the optimum solution for the increasing demand for small and low cost propulsion systems for small satellites. The attractiveness of monopropellant thrusters is based on its operational and structural simplicity.

Model for N2O monopropellant thruster operation
Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part G: Journal of Aerospace Engineering, 2008The current paper presents a new model for the simulation of a prospective nitrous oxide (N2O) monopropellant thruster operation. The specific impulse performance expected by the N2O monopropellant is suitable for spacecraft station-keeping and small orbit manoeuvres.

A monopropellant hydrazine MEMS thruster for attitude control of nanosatellites
2010 IEEE Students Technology Symposium (TechSym), 2010This paper highlights the design and development of catalytic type mono-propellant hydrazine microthruster for space applications. In the process of development of microthruster the modeling & simulation of different parts/modules have been considered. Design of inlet feed channel and exit nozzle with different layout have been done to achieve required

Modeling of MEMS-Based Hydrogen Peroxide Monopropellant Micro-Thrusters
2006Abstract : This document describes the three-year effort to develop computational methodologies for the modeling of a hydrogen-peroxide based monopropellant micro-thruster operation. Computational models have been developed in two primary areas: (1) the numerical simulation of supersonic viscous flow in linear micronozzles; and (2) numerical simulation
