Hardy operator with variable limits on monotone functions
We characterize weighted Lp-Lq inequalities with the Hardy operator of the form Hf(x)=∫a(x)b(x)f(y)u(y) dy with a non-negative weight function u, restricted to the cone of monotone functions on the semiaxis. The proof is based on the Sawyer criterion and

Historical Foundation and Practical Guideline for Ferroelectric Switching Kinetic Studies
The P and U pulses in the conventional PUND measurements are not identical because of the interplay between switching current and the measurement circuit components. This circuit effect can lead to a shift in polarization transients and misinterpreted physics in the switching kinetics.

Complete Monotone Quasiconcave Duality [PDF]
We introduce a notion of complete monotone quasiconcave duality and we show that it holds for important classes of quasiconcave functions.Quasiconcavity, Quasiconvexity, Duality, Indirect ...

On spherical averages of radial basis functions
A radial basis function (RBF) has the general form $$s(x)=\sum_{k=1}^{n}a_{k}\phi(x-b_{k}),\quad x\in\mathbb{R}^{d},$$ where the coefficients a 1,…,a n are real numbers, the points, or centres, b 1,…,b n lie in ℝ d , and φ:ℝ d →ℝ is a radially symmetric

An integrated material platform combining engineered SiNx thin films and printable ZrO2 nanoparticle‐embedded resin enables broadband achromatic metalenses from the ultraviolet to visible range. The demonstrated meta‐optics achieve near‐diffraction‐limited focusing with minimal chromatic aberration.

A reversed Poincaré inequality for monotone functions
We derive a family of sharp reversed Poincaré inequalities for positive monotone functions defined on a finite interval of the real line.

Exciton Binding Energy of Phosphorescent Emitter Molecules in Organic Light‐Emitting Diodes
Energy level alignment is key to efficient OLED design, yet determining LUMO energies remains challenging. A methodology based on field‐induced dissociation and kinetic Monte Carlo simulations is presented to extract LUMO energies of iridium‐based phosphorescent emitters from their exciton binding energy.

This work introduces a swelling‐induced, stress‐assisted water‐soluble PVA tape strategy to transfer‐print nanodiamond quantum‐sensor arrays onto soft, curved biological interfaces. The room‐temperature, water‐triggered process achieves >98% fidelity and residue‐free integration, enabling conformal quantum sensing on contact lenses, neural probes, and ...

Derivation of Monotone Decision Models from Non-Monotone Data
The objective of data mining is the extraction of knowledge from databases. In practice, one often encounters difficulties with models that are constructed purely by search, without incorporation of knowledge about the domain of application. In economic ...

Completely monotone property of fractional Green functions
In this paper it is proved that the Green function of a linear fractional dierential equation is completely monotone. Further results on the behaviour of the Green function are obtained by exploring their connection with the Mittag-Leer distribution ...
