On the maximal monotonicity of the sum of a maximal monotone linear relation and the subdifferential operator of a sublinear function [PDF]
The most important open problem in Monotone Operator Theory concerns the maximal monotonicity of the sum of two maximal monotone operators provided that Rockafellar's constraint qualification holds. In this note, we provide a new maximal monotonicity result for the sum of a maximal monotone relation and the subdifferential operator of a proper ...

Scaling‐Up of Structural Superlubricity: Challenges and Opportunities
At increasing length‐scales, structural superlubricity (SSL) faces challenges from physical and chemical energy dissipation pathways. This study reviews recent experimental and theoretical progress on these challenges facing the scaling‐up of SSL, as well as perspectives on future directions for realizing and manipulating macroscale superlubricity ...

EuSc₂Te₄, an antiferromagnetic semiconductor, exhibits a nonlinear Hall effect (NLHE) characterized by quadratic current–voltage behavior. Combined experimental and theoretical studies reveal that this NLHE is linked to its antiferromagnetism and involves contributions from the quantum metric.

Σ -Reducibility and lm -Reducibility of Sets and Sequences of Sets [PDF]
Limitwise monotonic sets, pairs of sets, and sequences consisting of infinite sets are studied in the paper. The main properties of limitwise monotonic reducibility between two sets, as well as between the set and a pair of sets defined in terms of Σ ...

Two Approximation Formulas for Gamma Function with Monotonic Remainders
In this paper, two new approximation formulas with monotonic remainders for the gamma function have been presented. Also, we present some numerical comparisons between our new approximation formulas and some known ones, which demonstrate the superiority ...

Transforms on operator monotone functions [PDF]
For an operator monotone function $f(t)$ on the positive real line, we show the operator monotonicity of the type of the functions $(t-a)(t-b)/(f(t)-f(a))(f^\sharp(t)-f^\sharp(b))$.

This work explores Li‐substituted P2 layered oxides for Na‐ion batteries by crystallographic and electrochemical studies. The effect of lithium on superstructure orderings, on phase transitions during synthesis and electrochemical cycling and on the interplay of O‐ versus TM‐redox is revealed via various advanced techniques, including semi‐simultaneous

Separable functions: symmetry, monotonicity, and applications [PDF]
In this paper, we introduce concepts of separable functions in balls and in the whole space, and develop a new method to investigate the qualitative properties of separable functions. We first study the axial symmetry and monotonicity of separable functions in unit circles by geometry analysis, and we prove the uniqueness of the symmetry axis for ...

This study introduces a rapid, microwave‐assisted synthetic method for halide argyrodite solid‐state electrolytes Li6PS5X${\rm Li}_6 {\rm PS}_5X$ (X=$X =$ Cl−${\rm Cl}^-$, Br−${\rm Br}^-$, I−${\rm I}^-$). Microwave synthesis increases S2−${\rm S}^{2-}$/X−$X^-$ site disorder and rotational disorder of the isolated PS43−${{\mathrm{PS}}_{4}}^{3 ...
