Experimental Study of Gas Microbubbles on Oil‐Infused Wrinkled Surfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Microbubbles are observed on both superhydrophobic (SHS) and lubricant‐infused surfaces (LIS) immersed to gassed water. The bubbles on LIS are stabilized by the lubricant cloaking layer, while bubbles on SHS shrink vertically over the same time frame.

Fabrication and Characterization of MWCNTs Decorated ZnO Nanograins Based Sensor for Enhanced Performance Toward CO2 Gas

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
The present work is concerned with the fabrication of CO2 sensors based on MWCNTs/ZnO material, which is obtained by RF magnetron sputtering and electron‐beam deposition methods. The sensor exhibits highly sensitive and selective behavior, high repeatability, and temporal stability at low CO2 concentrations.

Supramolecular Nanoarchitectonics of PNIPAAM‐co‐MA and Imogolite to Obtain Thermoresponsive Clay Nanotubes Through Complexation Mechanism

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
The selective adsorption of anionic poly(N‐isopropylacrylamide)‐co‐methacrylic (PNIPAAM‐co‐MA) onto the external surface of imogolite nanotubes is driven by electrostatic attractions. The copolymer coating affects the surface charge, aqueous diffusion and self‐assembling of imogolite.

Soft ULC Microgels at the Interface Interact and Flow as Hertzian‐Like Colloids

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Monolayers of soft ULC microgels, studied combining interfacial rheology, AFM and computer simulations, exhibit isoelastic points. At these points, the measured stiffness of the monolayer remains constant despite large differences in particle concentration.
