Enhancing Amplified Spontaneous Emission in Perovskite Thin Films by Thickness Regulation: Insights into Carrier Distribution and Optical Confinement

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
This study reveals the critical influence of film thickness and excitation wavelength on the ASE threshold in metal halide perovskites. By optimizing these factors, the ASE threshold is significantly reduced, providing key insights into optical confinement and carrier distribution for advancing electrically pumped perovskite lasers.

Pressure‐Induced Structural and Optoelectronic Modulations in 2D Dion‐Jacobson Hybrid Lead Iodide Perovskites With a Rigid Spacer

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Compression to ≈2.0 GPa results in a non‐monotonic enhancement of the Pb‐I bond distortion, rarely observed in other 2D lead‐iodide hybrid perovskites. The octahedral distortion together with the rigidity of spacer cation are found to play a dominant role in determining the optoelectronic properties of DPDAPbI4 under high pressure.

Optical Properties of Thin Films of Tin Iodide Perovskite Nanostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
A comprehensive spectroscopic study of thin films of 3D CsSnI3 nanocrystals (NCs) that coexist with residual 2D Ruddlesden‐Popper nanosheets (NSs) has been performed. Polymer encapsulation enables solid‐state stabilization of the tin iodide perovskite nanostructures, while insight into the energetics and dynamics of the NC and NS excitons is provided ...

Pyroelectric Doping Reversal of MoS₂ p‐n Junctions on Ferroelectric Domain Walls Probed by Photoluminescence

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
The potential of pyroelectricity for controlling electron doping in monolayer MoS2 on periodically poled LiNbO3 substrates is demonstrated. Pyroelectric charges are shown to convert p‐n into n‐p homojunctions formed in MoS2 on domain walls. The variation in the MoS2 electron density from 300 to 10 K is consistent with the change in the spontaneous ...

Stimulated Raman Scattering with Optical Vortex Beams

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
This study presents exact analytical expressions for stimulated Raman scattering with Laguerre‐Gaussian beams, revealing signal dependence on topological and hyperbolic momentum. The results provide a theoretical foundation for coherent Raman imaging and detecting orbital angular momentum of light via structured light in nonlinear optics.
