Ruddlesden–Popper Defects Act as a Free Surface: Role in Formation and Photophysical Properties of CsPbI3

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work investigates Ruddlesden–Popper (RP) defects in vapor‐deposited CsPbI3 thin films using electron microscopy, density functional theory, and optoelectronic measurements. The atomic positions at the planar defect are found comparable to those of a free surface, revealing their role in phase stabilization.

Flexible Selenium Nanowires with Tuneable Electronic Bandgaps

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Nanotubes serve as effective test tubes for selenium nanowires, as their diameter precisely controls the width of the nanowires and the Se─Se bonding, resulting in a variety of different structures. An electron beam can be used to modify the nanotubes, allowing real‐time observation of the nanowire extrusion process. Additionally, optically transparent

Dynamic Magnonic Crystals Based on Spatiotemporal Plasmon Excitation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Hybrid magnonic‐plasmonic metamaterials enabling spatiotemporal optical control of spin‐wave transport are demonstrated. These structures integrate periodic stripes of gold nanodisk arrays with low‐damping yttrium iron garnet films to realize dynamically reconfigurable magnonic crystals.

Xolography for Rapid Volumetric Production of Objects from the Nanoscopic to Macroscopic Length Scales

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This article explores the development of materials with multi‐scale control at the nanoscale (<100 nm), micrometer‐scale (80 µm), and macro‐scale (multi‐component geometries). This is achieved by applying polymerization‐induced microphase separation (PIMS) process via volumetric 3D printing (Xolography), expanding the design space for functional ...

Genuinely accessible and inaccessible entanglement in Schwarzschild black hole

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
The genuine entanglement of Dirac fields for an N-partite system is investigated in Schwarzschild spacetime and the analysis is carried out using the single-mode approximation.
