Hankel Transforms of General Monotone Functions
We show that the Hankel transform of a general monotone function converges uniformly if and only if the limit function is bounded. To this end, we rely on an Abel-Olivier test for real-valued functions. Analogous results for cosine series are derived as well.

We develop a data‐driven method to derive the mathematical expressions of the Flory–Huggins interaction parameter χ for the swelling behavior of temperature–responsive hydrogels. Starting from initial assumptions of χ, our workflow combines Bayesian optimization, Flory–Rehner theory, and symbolic regression to generate candidate χ expressions.

This study shows that superalloys used in aircraft engine disks become much more prone to deformation at high temperatures if they have been strained during manufacturing. This effect increases with the level of prior strain but eventually reaches a limit.
