A refinement of a double inequality for the gamma function
In the paper, we present a monotonicity result of a function involving the gamma function and the logarithmic function, refine a double inequality for the gamma function, and improve some known results for bounding the gamma function.Comment: 8 ...

Production of MgO/TiC Composites From MgO‐C Recyclates Using Spark Plasma Sintering
Using the spark plasma sintering technique, MgO/TiC composites are manufactured from recycled MgO‐C refractories stemming from the steel production that were mixed with titanium powder. This article shows, how the size of the Ti grains and their distribution in the powder mixture affect the local carbon concentration in TiC.

Family of solvable generalized random-matrix ensembles with unitary symmetry
We construct a very general family of characteristic functions describing Random Matrix Ensembles (RME) having a global unitary invariance, and containing an arbitrary, one-variable probability measure which we characterize by a `spread function ...

Cathodic Cage Plasma Deposition of Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se Coatings on Poly(methyl Methacrylate)
Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se coatings are deposited on PMMA by a modified cathodic cage plasma process, enabling low‐temperature deposition on polymer substrates. A transition from discontinuous to compact morphology is observed with temperature, with optimal properties at 200°C, where improved CuFeSe2‐type bonding, lowest sheet resistance, and favorable ...

This work explores Li‐substituted P2 layered oxides for Na‐ion batteries by crystallographic and electrochemical studies. The effect of lithium on superstructure orderings, on phase transitions during synthesis and electrochemical cycling and on the interplay of O‐ versus TM‐redox is revealed via various advanced techniques, including semi‐simultaneous

Logarithmically completely monotonic functions involving the Generalized Gamma Function
By a simple approach, two classes of functions involving generalization Euler's gamma function and originating from certain problems of traffic flow are proved to be logarithmically completely monotonic and a class of functions involving the psi function is showed to be completely monotonic.

Stretching the Printability Metric in Direct‐Ink Writing with Highly Extensible Yield‐Stress Fluids
This study introduces “drawability” as a new metric for assessing printability in direct‐ink writing, focusing on gap‐spanning performance and speed robustness. By designing yield‐stress fluids with high extensibility, we demonstrate that extensional strain‐to‐break significantly enhances printability.
