Al1‐xScxN‐Based Ferroelectric Domain‐Wall Memristors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
(a) Conductive atomic force microscopy (CAFM) image of the initial state bidomain structure of the Al0.85Sc0.15N (a) showing an enhanced conductivity of the head‐to‐head domain boundary. (b) CAFM image of the same area after application of several −65 V, 1 s voltage pulses showing lower conductivity of the generated tail‐to‐tail domain walls.

Monotonicity Results of Ratios between Normalized Tails of Maclaurin Power Series Expansions of Sine and Cosine

open access: yesMathematics
In the paper, the authors establish the monotonicity results of the ratios between normalized tails of the Maclaurin power series expansions of the sine and cosine functions and restate them in terms of the generalized hypergeometric functions.

Enhancing CoFe Catalysts with V2CTX MXene‐Derived Materials for Anion Exchange Membrane Electrolyzers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
MXene dervied CoFe composites show increased initial Oxygen Evolution Reaction (OER) activity compared to the pure CoFe and MXene in an Anion Exchange Membrane device. Vanadium vacancies in the MXene plays a role in increased OER activity and hinders Fe leaching in the AEM device over using the pure V2C MXene as a support material for the CoFe ...

Monotone expansion

open access: yesProceedings of the forty-fourth annual ACM symposium on Theory of computing, 2012
This work, following the outline set in [B2], presents an explicit construction of a family of monotone expanders. The family is essentially defined by the Mobius action of SL_2(R) on the real line. For the proof, we show a product-growth theorem for SL_2(R).

Relationships between Non-Bossiness and Nash Implementability [PDF]

open access: yes
We explore the relationships between non-bossiness and Nash implementability. We provide a new domain-richness condition, weak monotonic closedness, and prove that on weakly monotonically closed domains, non-bossiness together with individual ...

Instrumental Variable Estimation with a Stochastic Monotonicity Assumption

open access: yes, 2017
The instrumental variables (IV) method provides a way to estimate the causal effect of a treatment when there are unmeasured confounding variables. The method requires a valid IV, a variable that is independent of the unmeasured confounding variables ...
