The self‐powered optoelectronic memristor based on ZnO/WOx heterojunction is developed, exhibiting the visual adaptation functions of desensitization and Weber's law. A bioinspired visual adaptive neuron is constructed, capable of converting light stimuli into dynamic spike trains.

High magnetic fields (HMFs) regulate orbital coupling and spin polarization in Fe/Pd thin films, promoting crystallization and ordered spin textures. HMF‐assisted growth transitions Fe from amorphous to dense 2D structures, enhancing saturation magnetization and domain uniformity. This strategy advances the design of high‐performance spintronic devices

This work reports an all‐solution processable fabrication approach for fabricating Ti3C2Tx/Cu3(HHTP)2/n‐Si heterojunction as self‐powered photodetectors through the consecutive spray coating a Cu3(HHTP)2 and Ti3C2Tx thin films on n‐type silicon surface, as formed self‐supplied photodetector reveals exceptional responsivity and detectivity.

Monotone and Partially Monotone Neural Networks
IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks, 2010In many classification and prediction problems it is known that the response variable depends on certain explanatory variables. Monotone neural networks can be used as powerful tools to build monotone models with better accuracy and lower variance compared to ordinary nonmonotone models.

On the monotonization of polyhedra
Mathematical Programming, 1996In polyhedral combinatorics one often has to analyze the facial structure of less than full dimensional polyhedra. The presence of implicit or explicit equations in the linear system defining such a polyhedron leads to technical difficulties when analyzing its facial structure.

Identifying monotonic and non-monotonic relationships
Economics Letters, 2010The basic assumption in regression analysis is that there is a linear relationship between the dependent and the independent variable over the entire range of the independent variable. The resultant regression coefficient conveys qualitative and quantitative information about the relationship.

Monotone and Near-Monotone Systems [PDF]
This paper provides an expository introduction to monotone and near-monotone biochemical network structures. Monotone systems respond in a predictable fashion to perturbations, and have very robust dynamical characteristics. This makes them reliable components of more complex networks, and suggests that natural biological systems may have evolved to be,

We explore when it is optimal for senders to commit to signal structures which induce the receiver to take higher actions when the underlying state is higher and the preferences of the receiver satisfy strategic complementarity conditions. Building on the literature on monotone comparative statics, we provide sufficient conditions for the sender's ...

Monotonic and Non-Monotonic Logics of Knowledge1
Fundamenta Informaticae, 1991We study monotonic and non-monotonic Logics of Knowledge, giving decision procedures and completeness results. In particular we develop a model theory for a non-monotonic Logic of Knowledge and show that it corresponds exactly to normal applications of a non-monotonic rule of inference due to McCarthy.
