Essays on implementability and monotonicity
Cataloged from PDF version of article.Includes bibliographical references leaves 46-47.In this thesis we study the implementation problem with regard to the relation between monotonicity and implementability. Recent work in the field has shown that the

A fully flexible ion‐gel‐gated graphene‐channel transistor driven by a triboelectric nanogenerator enables self‐powered tactile sensing and synaptic learning. Mimicking spike‐rate‐dependent plasticity, the device exhibits frequency‐selective potentiation and depression, supporting rate‐coded neuromorphic computation even under flex.

A new monotonicity condition for tournament solutions
EGIDE-Picasso Workshop -- 2008 -- Univ Basque Country, Bilbao, SPAINWe identify a new monotonicity condition (called cover monotonicity) for tournament solutions which allows a discrimination among main tournament solutions: The top-cycle, the iterated ...

Signatures of Edge States in Antiferromagnetic Van der Waals Josephson Junctions
ABSTRACT The combination of superconductivity and magnetic textures leads to unconventional superconducting phenomena, including new correlated and topological phases. Van der Waals (vdW) materials emerge as a versatile platform for exploring the interplay between these two competing orders.

Maximal Domain for Strategy-Proof Rules in Allotment Economies [PDF]
We consider the problem of allocating an amount of a perfectly divisible good among a group of n agents. We study how large a preference domain can be to allow for the existence of strategy-proof, symmetric, and efficient allocation rules when the amount

All‐Optical Reconfigurable Physical Unclonable Function for Sustainable Security
An all‐optical reconfigurable physical unclonable function (PUF) is demonstrated using plasmonic coupling–induced sintering of optically trapped gold nanoparticles, where Brownian motion serves as a robust entropy source. The resulting optical PUF exhibits high encoding density, strong resistance to modeling attacks, and practical authentication ...

Domain-Constrained Stacking Framework for Credit Default Prediction
Accurate and reliable credit risk classification is fundamental to the stability of financial systems and the efficient allocation of capital. However, with the rapid expansion of customer information in both volume and complexity, traditional rule-based

Correlated Charge Transport in an Organic Coulomb Glass
ABSTRACT Advances in the development of organic field‐effect transistors (OFETs), electrically gated organic semiconductors (EGOFETs), and organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) allow for the operation of these devices at very high charge‐carrier densities, where Coulomb interactions between carriers can be expected to become significant.

Elephant‐skin‐inspired crack networks are programmed in porous diatomaceous earth (DE)‐cement composites using substrate‐guided, stress‐concentration induced fracture. The resulting crack lattices act as capillary conduits that redistribute water, while the porous matrix stores moisture.

A Query Tool for EL with Non-monotonic Rules.
We present the Protégé plug-in NoHR that allows the user to take anEL+⊤ontology, add a set of non-monotonic (logic programming) rules – suitable e.g. to express defaults and exceptions – and query the combined knowledge base. Our approach uses the well-founded semantics for MKNF knowledge bases as underlying formalism, so no restriction other than DL ...
