Russia’s New “Monroe Doctrine”
2011Like the Terminator, Russia is back — back as a major actor in world affairs and as a major headache for security policy decision makers in the Western world. In words, this point was driven home by then Russian President Vladimir Putin in his speech at the Wehrkunde meeting in Munich, February 2007.
