Temporal Dynamics of a Neotropical Plant‐Hummingbird Interaction Network

Using an unprecedented sampling effort we evaluated network structure and dynamics of plant‐hummingbird interactions over 1 year in the Brazilian hyperdiverse Campos Rupestres. Network structure presented remarkable temporal change, showing that tropical communities can also be strongly influenced by climate.

A new approach to estimate the minimum length of thread engagement for bolted joints with formed female threads has been verified for different thread sizes and geometries. Depending on the size of the pre‐drilled pilot hole the pull‐out strength was investigated experimentally to confirm the analytical calculation approach developed.

Zur Erhöhung des Nennlochspiels kommen in geschraubten Verbindungen häufig Langlöcher zum Einsatz. Um dennoch eine reibschlüssige Tragwirkung gewährleisten zu können, muss u. a. ein Hineinziehen der Scheiben in das Langloch vermieden werden. Slotted holes are often used in bolted connections to increase the nominal hole clearance.
