CHANGES THE STRUCTURE AND CAFFEINE ADSORPTION PROPERTY OF CALCINED MONTMORILLONITE
: Montmorillonite is widely used as a natural adsorbent. It is generally considered that the adsorption properties of montmorillonite are largely due to its characteristic layer structure.

Abstract Mixed‐phase clouds can be found at temperatures between 0 and −38° ${}^{\circ}$C and consist of supercooled cloud droplets and ice crystals. The phase of mixed‐phase clouds is crucial for the radiation budget, which determines the atmosphere's energy balance.

Delamination of Vermiculite into Ultrahigh‐Aspect‐Ratio Nanosheets
Efficient ion exchange allows for thermodynamically driven delamination of vermiculite into high‐aspect ratio nanosheets. The applicability of sustainable materials in the packaging industry is currently limited by the poor gas barrier performance of most biodegradable polymers.

Investigation on Montmorillonite-Phenol Interactions
Note:The behaviour of some phenolic compounds interacting with montmorillonite clay is studied. Montmorillonite acts as an electron acceptor element(s) and has the ability to oxidize phenols to phenol oligomers.

Inspired by natural silicified wood, a biomimetic mineralized chitin‐derived aerogel is constructed. It can withstand 81 000 times its own weight, and its backside temperature is 130.4°C after exposure to ∼1300°C butane flame for 600 s, exhibiting high‐strength, fire‐resistance, and super thermal‐insulation properties.

Adsorption of benzene and naphthalene to modified montmorillonite [PDF]
This study aims to characterize the adsorption pattern of benzene and naphthalene on montmorillonite modified with hexadecyltrimethylammonium (HDTMA), tetramethylammonium (TMA), tetraethylammonium (TEA), tetrabutylammonium (TBA) or ...
