Overturning Circulation of the North Atlantic Subtropical Gyre Computed in Density Coordinates at 26°N

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 5, 16 March 2026.
Abstract The RAPID‐MOCHA‐WBTS array in the subtropical gyre of the North Atlantic has measured the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC) and the overturning streamfunction in depth coordinates since 2004. Here we show that the overturning streamfunction in density coordinates can be estimated by combining data from the RAPID‐MOCHA‐WBTS ...

From Sensation to Anxiety: The Mediating Effect of Physical Sensation and Experiential Avoidance on Exercise Anxiety Among College Students

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Sport Science, Volume 26, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Negative physical sensation (i.e., negative reactions to the physical sensations with exercise) refers to the perception and attitude toward one's own physical health and exercise capacity under a specific stressful situation. It is affected by potentially stressful situations, negative emotions, and avoidance coping strategies, and it has an ...

Temporal Variation of Nutrient Ratios Within Hydroponic Nutrient Solutions

open access: yesFood and Energy Security, Volume 15, Issue 2, March/April 2026.
ABSTRACT Indoor hydroponic farming enables pesticide‐free food production with significantly lower water use than conventional agriculture. However, standard practices often involve frequent replacement of nutrient solutions to manage nutrient imbalances and microbial contamination, generating large volumes of nutrient‐rich waste with both ...

MOTIONS OF MOORED FLOATING BODY AND DYNAMIC TENSION OF MOORING LINES IN REGULAR WAVES

open access: yesMOTIONS OF MOORED FLOATING BODY AND DYNAMIC TENSION OF MOORING LINES IN REGULAR WAVES
In this paper, the theoretical and the experimental studies of moored floating cylinder and tension of mooring lines in waves are made. The main conclusions obtained are as follows. (1) Heaving and swaying motion of moored floating cylinder in regular waves can be estimated theoretically.
