Abstract The marine transportation of crude oil from tankers to final terminals is facilitated using pipelines and oil terminals. The predominant form of the terminal is the Single Point Mooring system. The system is crucial as it anchors tankers and transfers crude oil from the ship to the system using floating hoses.
