TSPYL5 Promotes Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer Metastasis by Antagonizing USP10‐Mediated PTEN Stabilization to Unleash a ZEB1‐Dependent EMT Program

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The hyperactivation of PI3K/AKT signaling in PTEN wild‐type triple‐negative breast cancer represents a clinical paradox. We delineate a novel post‐translational regulatory axis wherein the oncogene TSPYL5 competitively antagonizes the deubiquitinase USP10.

Effect of 3D-printing assisted micro-osteoperforations on the rate of canine retraction: a clinical investigation

open access: yesBMC Oral Health
Objectives More time is often needed for adult orthodontic patients compared with juvenile counterparts due to lower tissue vitality. In some cases, the prolonged orthodontic treatment may cause a series of problems, such as enamel demineralization ...

Single‐Cell Dissection of Therapy‐Induced Remodeling Uncovers a Fibroblast‐Driven Immunosuppressive Niche and Targetable Vulnerabilities in Lethal Prostate Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Single‐cell longitudinal profiling reveals that androgen‐deprivation therapy induces a DPT+ fibroblast‐complement axis that suppresses macrophage inflammation and drives CD8+ T cell exhaustion in prostate cancer. Concurrently, resistant epithelial subpopulations persist and engage TSPAN1‐ and NRXN1‐mediated programs promoting CRPC and neuroendocrine ...

UCHL3 Regulates Subgenomic Flaviviral RNA Condensates to Promote Virus Propagation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Flavivirus subgenomic RNAs (sfRNAs) antagonise antiviral defences, yet how sfRNAs are organized and maintained in cells remains poorly understood. Here we identify ubiquitin C‐terminal hydrolase L3 (UCHL3) as a post‐translational regulator of flavivirus sfRNA stability and function.

Loss of E3 Ubiquitin Ligase RINES via CpG Methylation Relieves Suppression of STAT3 and MYC, Facilitating Multiple Tumorigeneses

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Dysregulated protein modifications drive tumorigenesis. RINES, an E3 ubiquitin ligase, represses tumor cell proliferation and metastasis by facilitating RING domain‐dependent, ubiquitin–proteasome‐mediated degradation of STAT3 and MYC, which consequently restrains cancer stemness and oncogenic progression.

Gravimetric, electrochemical and surface study on the good’s buffer ionic liquid as corrosion inhibitor for carbon steel in acidic medium

open access: yesJournal of Mechanical Engineering and Sciences, 2019
This corrosion study assessed the inhibition performance of carbon steel in 1 M of hydrochloric acid (HCl) using Good’s buffer ionic liquids (GBIL) namely 1-Butyl-3-methylimidazolium 2-(N-Morpholino) propane, [BMIM][MOPS] using electrochemical impedance,
