Attainable Assouad-Like Dimensions of Randomly Generated Moran Sets and Measures

In this paper we study the Assouad-like $Φ$ dimensions of sets and measures that are constructed by a random weighted iterated function system of similarities. These dimensions are distinguished by the depth of the scales considered and thus provide more refined infomation about the local geometry/behaviour of a set or measure.

Hausdorff dimension and quasisymmetric minimality of homogeneous Moran sets

In this paper, we study the quasisymmetric Hausdorff minimality of homogeneous Moran sets. First, we obtain the Hausdorff dimension formula of two classes of homogeneous Moran sets which satisfy some conditions. Second, we show two special classes of homogeneous Moran sets with Hausdorff dimension 1 are quasisymmetrically Hausdorff minimal.

Seed co‐occurrence caused by shared frugivores leaves a long‐lasting signal in the spatial co‐occurrence among plants

By dispersing seeds, frugivorous animals affect spatial co‐occurrence of plants, ultimately influencing plant community dynamics. Frugivorous animals are intrinsically involved in plant community dynamics, by dispersing seeds of fleshy‐fruited plants and influencing their spatial co‐occurrence.

Fruit‐quality tradeoffs generate asymmetry in plant reliance on mutualistic frugivores

Seed dispersal is a fundamental ecological process influencing the evolution of plant life‐history strategies.
