Hydroisomerization of n-Pentane over Pt/Mordenite Catalyst: Effect of Feed Composition and Process Conditions [PDF]

open access: yesIranian Journal of Oil & Gas Science and Technology, 2016
The hydroisomerization of pure n-pentane over H-mordenite supported Pt-catalyst was investigated in a fixed bed reactor by changing reaction parameters such as temperature, pressure, and WHSV, as well as the H2/HC ratio.

Dimethyl Ether as Circular Hydrogen Carrier: Low‐Temperature Steam Reforming Over Copper–Zeolite Bifunctional Catalysts

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 10, 27 May 2026.
ABSTRACT In the context of a green H2‐based economy, chemical H2 carriers are essential for efficient H2 storage and transportation. Among H2 carriers, dimethyl ether (DME) is a promising candidate due to its characteristics, such as non‐toxicity, easy transportation, high H2 storage capacity, and its circular nature by the reusability of CO2 formed ...

Self‐Driven Humidity Regulation via Hygroscopic Salt Cycling

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 7, Issue 4, April 2026.
A series of antimony‐based inorganic‐organic metal halides with gradient water adsorption capacities is designed. The controlled release of the hygroscopic salt ACl from them during adsorption and re‐capture of ACl during the desorption process is achieved. The chemical bonds' reorganization and energy release enable the self‐driven desorption.

Local Structures of Two-Dimensional Zeolites—Mordenite and ZSM-5—Probed by Multinuclear NMR

open access: yesMolecules, 2020
Mesostructured pillared zeolite materials in the form of lamellar phases with a crystal structure of mordenite (MOR) and ZSM-5 (MFI) were grown using CTAB as an agent that creates mesopores, in a one-pot synthesis; then into the CTAB layers separating ...

Enhancing Mechanical and Flame‐Retardant Properties of Huntite‐Hydromagnesite Reinforced Polypropylene Composites With Calcite, Zeolite and Intumescent Flame Retardants

open access: yesSPE Polymers, Volume 7, Issue 2, April 2026.
Thermal behavior of composites reinforced with synergistic materials. ABSTRACT As firefighting efforts increase daily, the use of fire‐resistant materials is also on the rise. However, those materials sometimes create other problems. The discovery that halogenated fire retardants are toxic is one example.
