A splitting result for compact symplectic manifolds
We consider compact symplectic manifolds acted on effectively by a compact connected Lie group $K$ in a Hamiltonian fashion. We prove that the squared moment map $||\mu||^2$ is constant if and only if $K$ is semisimple and the manifold is $K ...

Morgagni's hernia is an uncommon type of diaphragmatic hernia. These patients usually present in childhood but sometimes later in life. We report a case of 75 years old female who presented with epigastric discomfort and vomiting. She was diagnosed as a case of calculous cholecystitis and was treated with antibiotics but was not relieved.

The Mittag-Leffler Theorem for regular functions of a quaternionic variable
We prove a version of the classical Mittag-Leffler Theorem for regular functions over quaternions. Our result relies upon an appropriate notion of principal part, that is inspired by the recent definition of spherical analyticity.Comment: 10 ...

Landau-Toeplitz theorems for slice regular functions over quaternions
The theory of slice regular functions of a quaternionic variable extends the notion of holomorphic function to the quaternionic setting. This theory, already rich of results, is sometimes surprisingly different from the theory of holomorphic functions of

Background Foramen of Morgagni hernias have traditionally been repaired by laparotomy, lapascopy or even thoracoscopy. However, the trans-sternal approach should be used when these rare hernias coexist with other cardiac surgical diseases.
