New data on Lepidion schmidti (Gadiformes: Moridae) from the north-east Atlantic Ocean
Journal of Fish Biology, 2011A new record of Lepidion schmidti (Gadiformes: Moridae) is reported from the Bay of Biscay (north-east Atlantic Ocean). Lepidion schmidti is a rare and poorly known species, scarcely described in the ichthyological literature. Morphometric and meristic characteristics of the specimen are given.

Journal of Ichthyology, 2006The genus Physiculus Kaup, 1858, comprises about 40 species (Paulin 1989, 1991; Trunov, 1991; Shcherbachev, 1993; Anderson and Tweddle, 2002). Some of them are common, others are known only from single specimens. The little known P. longifilis Weber, 1913, described from the Flores Sea (Indonesia) belongs to the latter category (Weber, 1913).
