Cover Crops Impacts on Louisiana Corn Production and Soil Properties
Core Ideas Combination of cover crops with conservation tillage increased soil C. Cover crops significantly reduced nitrate‐N levels during the fallow season. Legume cover crops reduced N requirements when compared with non‐legumes. Conventionally managed, continuous monoculture row‐crop production has depleted the soil of nutrients, organic matter ...

Core Ideas Hydropedological factors are key to revealing the hydrological maze. Hydropedological factor plays the role of “creator” in runoff composition and runoff generation. Hydropedological factor plays the role of “originator” of hydrological heterogeneity. Hydropedological factor plays the role of “producer” of hydrological puzzles.

ABSTRACT Sustainable weed management necessitates herbicide‐reduced, precision weed control. Recent advancements in machine vision and artificial intelligence (AI) for weed recognition and localization have created new opportunities for high‐precision weeding. Although blanket spraying systems are widely used for weed removal, machine vision‐guided, AI‐

Herbicide‐resistant weeds affect every major cropping system today. Worldwide, there are 47 and 51 confirmed cases of herbicide‐resistant weed populations in soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] and rice (Oryza sativa L.) production systems, respectively. Alternatives to herbicides are necessary to help combat herbicide‐resistant weeds.

Influence of Cereal Rye Management on Weed Control in Soybean
Cereal rye as a cover crop is often used to improve soil health and as part of integrated weed management programs. Despite this, cereal rye biomass is often not managed for optimal weed suppression.

Abstract Alabama, located in the northern subtropics, is the third‐largest producer of peanut [Arachis hypogaea (L.)] in the United States. Historically, herbicides have been the primary means of weed control in peanut. However, increasing cases of herbicide‐resistant weeds and a lack of commercially available herbicide‐tolerant technology have limited

Abstract Palmer amaranth (Amaranthus palmeri S. Watson) is classified as a noxious weed in Minnesota, necessitating its eradication within the state. Manure from livestock fed contaminated feed was identified as a major pathway for the introduction of Palmer amaranth in Minnesota. Black soldier fly larvae (Hermetia illucens L.) (BSFL) are known to feed
