Arguments from morphological compositionality in support of feature analyses are common in treatments of number. This chapter argues that they have an important contribution to make to person and adduces a partial typology that strongly supports the analysis of the previous chapter.

The composition and morphology of yeast nuclear scaffolds
Journal of Cell Science, 1990ABSTRACT The yeast nuclear scaffold has been shown to bind with high affinity to genomic sequences that permit autonomous DNA replication of plasmids (ARS elements). We describe here conditions for the isolation of a histone-free nuclear substructure, the nuclear scaffold, from Saccharomyces cerevisiae. We examine the protein composition

DEBONDING IN COMPOSITE MICROSTRUCTURES WITH MORPHOLOGICAL VARIATIONS
International Journal of Computational Methods, 2004This paper describes the development of the Voronoi cell finite element model (VCFEM) with interfacial decohesion for simulating debonding induced microstructural damage in fiber reinforced composites. Normal and tangential cohesive zone models at the matrix-fiber interface are used to describe the onset and growth of damage along the inclusion-matrix

Morphology and Composition of InAs/GaAs Quantum Dots
Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, 2007Surface compositional maps of self-organized InAs/GaAs quantum dots were obtained with laterally resolved photoemission spectroscopy. We found a surface In concentration of about 0.85 at the center of the islands which decreases to 0.75 on the wetting layer.

Study of morphology of composite films
Thin Solid Films, 2000The need for the reconstruction of three-dimensional structures from two-dimensional sections or projections is well known. We use the computer experiment to study the problem. Four models all with spherical objects were prepared to study the possibility of at least partial reconstruction of three-dimensional structures from their two-dimensional ...

Morphological Characteristics of Composite Films
Czechoslovak Journal of Physics, 2001For the testing of methods for morphological analysis of composite films, a computer experiment was suggested. Two models were prepared to study the possibility of at least partial reconstruction of 3D structures from their 2D projections or sections.

Morphology and chemical composition of dust
Journal of Aerosol Science, 1992Abstract The aim of this paper is to enlarge and generaline available data on the morphology, mineralogy and chemical composition of aerosol particles larger than 10 μm for dust storms pecular to Aral and Tadzhikistan. We present here the results of physico- chemical analisis of coarse particles collected during one dust storm at different ...

Composite morphological filters in multiresolution morphological decomposition
Fifth International Conference on Image Processing and its Applications, 1995Proposes four new kinds of morphological filters called composite morphological filters (CMFs); they are formed by the combination of opening and closing with image component itself. Then the authors use part of the CMFs in a multiresolution morphological decomposition (MMD) procedure to get image components according to texture size distributions ...

Test Morphology and Composition
1981We have seen how the soft part biology of the Foraminifera presents certain unique features. The group is also unique among the invertebrates in the variety of test shapes and styles of chamber arrangement developed, in some cases achieving an architectural complexity that has anticipated the geodesic domes of Buckmaster Fuller.

Morphology- and Composition-Modulated Sensing
2014Nanoparticles with various sizes and shapes produce unique localized surface plasmon resonance bands and exhibit different physical and chemical properties. For instance, catalytic ability, sensitivity to changes in the surrounding medium, and biocompatibility are all dependent on the morphology of nanoparticles.
