Construction of Green Ecological Network in Qingdao (Shandong, China) Based on the Combination of Morphological Spatial Pattern Analysis and Biodiversity Conservation Function Assessment

open access: yesSustainability, 2023
Building urban green ecological network systems and increasing urban and rural landscape connectivity are effective ways to improve urban biodiversity and landscape sustainability. The ecological sources in the main urban area of Qingdao City (Shandong, China) were identified based on morphological spatial pattern analysis (MSPA) combined with a ...

Application of computer system to analysis of muscle morphology: statistical analysis of spatial pattern of muscle fibers.

Hiroshima journal of medical sciences, 1984
The spatial pattern of histochemically stained normal muscle fibers and reinnervated muscle fibers is called mosaic pattern or type grouping, respectively only from appearance. In this study we classified the spatial distribution of rats' anterior tibial muscle fibers into homogeneous, clustered and random distribution by the distance method of Hopkins

ANALYSIS OF FOREST FRAGMENT METRICS AND SPATIAL MORPHOLOGICAL PATTERNS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SÃO PEDRO - SP

2022

A new computer assisted method for morphological assessment of peripheral nerve regeneration: statistical analysis of spatial patterns of axons. [PDF]

open access: possibleHiroshima journal of medical sciences, 1983
Free grafts of the common peroneal nerve of rats were performed, and the state of regeneration was observed at four week intervals the 24th post-operative week. The specimens used consisted of whole transverse sections of the nerve. These sections were magnified 2, 100X by electron microscope, and radom photogrphs were taken of 10 sites.

Association of hemodynamics and morphology with local surface growth of abdominal aortic aneurysm using spatial pattern analysis

Physics of Fluids
The study aims to investigate the relationship between morphology, hemodynamics, and local growth that could explain biomechanical mechanism of the abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) progression. We analyzed a sequential pairs of computerized tomography angiography images from 25 patients to extract multiphysical features, including local growth, lumen ...

Construction and optimization of ecological network based on morphological spatial pattern analysis and minimum cumulative resistance models in Haihe River basin

Ecohydrology
AbstractIn recent years, landscape fragmentation has become increasingly serious due to the impact of human activities. The ecological network can ensure the ecological function of the region through linearly connecting ecological corridors and effectively solving the problem of landscape fragmentation that occurs in the evolution of landscape patterns.

Construction of ecological network using morphological spatial pattern analysis and minimal cumulative resistance models in Guangzhou City, China.

Ying yong sheng tai xue bao = The journal of applied ecology, 2018
Construction of ecological network is important for improving urban ecological environment under the scenarios of rapid urbanization. We extracted the core area with good connectivity as the ecological sources with the methods of morphological spatial pattern analysis (MSPA) and landscape index with Guangzhou City as the study area.
