The study elucidates that paternal preconception stress can drive offspring hyperresponsivity of the stress system via hypomethylation of a specific DNA region in sperm. This key link is confirmed in a cohort of prospective fathers: the epigenetic alteration is associated with elevated stress hormone levels.

Precision Lignocellulosic Biorefinery: Process Regulation From Corn Stover to Products
This study presents a precision biorefinery framework that transforms corn stover into high‐value bioproducts through whole‐process regulation. Mechanical fractionation separates feedstock into parenchyma‐rich short fibers and vascular‐bundle‐dominant long fibers.

The relation between morphological and personality traits in humans [PDF]
In humans, as in animals, associations or correlations between morphological and personality traits can be observed. Some of the most conspicuous and well describable morphological traits in humans are eye color, hair color, body height and body mass ...

This study reveals that Alzheimer's disease–linked APP expression in bone‐forming cells drives skull bone marrow remodeling and alters its vascular connections to the brain. These changes disrupt immune cell trafficking, cerebral blood flow, and cognition. Targeting bone marrow macrophages restores brain function, highlighting a previously unrecognized

NLSS3 Impairs SHM1 Autophagic Degradation to Regulate Leaf Morphology and Salt Tolerance in Rice
In rice, NLSS3 binds and shields SHM1 from autophagic degradation to maintain serine homeostasis. The A132P mutation in nlss3 disrupts this, triggering SHM1 loss, metabolic dysfunction, K+ imbalance, and impaired ROS scavenging, which collectively drive narrow leaves and salt sensitivity.

An Investigation into Patterns of Scaling Among Morphological Traits
Proper scaling of morphological traits to body size is necessary for ecological function. Individuals with better nutrition grow larger body sizes and traits, whereas individuals with poor nutrition develop smaller body sizes and traits.

GENETIC IDENTITY OF RASPBERRY ‘POLANA’ PLANTLINGS EXAMINED USING MICROSATELLITE MARKERS
Raspberry cultivars are clonally propagated and therefore all plants belonging to a single cultivar represent the same genotype. Cultivar integrity of raspberry plantlings placed on the market in Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H) is based on examining of ...

NFYB Integrates Hormonal Signals into Tissue Allometry by Promoting Protein Biosynthesis
In the American cockroach, NFYB acts as a spatiotemporin that translates distinct hormonal cues into tissue‐specific allometry. Juvenile hormone activates NFYB in the early fat body, while 20‐hydroxyecdysone induces it in late wing pads. NFYB then promotes protein biosynthesis via core translational machinery, driving differential growth across the ...

We identified a Krt14+ Igf2bp1+ bladder cancer population linked to EMT. Mechanistically, KRT14 stabilizes and transports IGF2BP1 to invasive protrusions, initiating a positive feedback loop that drives metastasis and poor outcomes. ABSTRACT Basal‐type muscle‐invasive bladder cancer (BMIBC) is characterized by aggressive metastasis and poor prognosis ...
