MORPHOMETRIC PARAMETERS OF YAK SKIN ALTAI POPULATION

The results of studies of morphometric parameters of the yak skin of the Altai population are presented. It was found that the yield of paired skins is on average from 5,5 % in yak bulls of 18 months to 6.3 and 8,3 % in yak bulls and yak cows, respectively.
