TRAP5 Inhibition Targeting Scar‐Associated Macrophages Ameliorates Acute Kidney Injury to Chronic Kidney Disease Transition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study delineates macrophage heterogeneity along the acute kidney injury to chronic kidney disease transition. Single‐cell RNA sequencing reveals a TRAP5+ scar‐associated macrophage subset driven by Spp1–Cd44 signaling and mitochondrial metabolic reprogramming.

Inactivation Rap2a in Endothelial Cell Prevents Pulmonary Fibrosis by Regulating Immune Microenvironment Through MAP4K4‐VCAM1 Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We identified the endothelial RAP2A as a regulator of inflammatory endothelial activation in experimental lung fibrosis and suggest that targeting RAP2A‐mediated signaling may represent a potential strategy to modulate endothelial–immune crosstalk during fibrotic lung injury.

MORPHOMETRIC PARAMETERS OF MALE FETAL PERINEAL FORMATIONS

open access: yesBukovinian Medical Herald
Introduction. In recent years, Ukraine has observed a steady trend towards an increase in the level of congenital pathology of the perineal area. This is mainly manifested in the form of anorectal defects and malformations of the external genitalia, the localization of which topographically corresponds to the excretory and urogenital areas.

MORPHOMETRIC PARAMETERS OF ERYTHROCYTES IN SEVERAL RODENTIA SPECIES

open access: yesProceedings of the Karelian Research Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 2019
Red blood cells (RBC) play a leading role in the blood gas transport function and oxygen supply to tissues, and the number and size of RBC have a decisive role in tissue oxygenation. The size of erythrocyte varies significantly among animal species, depending  on a number of factors.

Real‐Time and High‐Resolution NIR‐II‐L Imaging of Netrin‐1‐Mediated Neurovascular Coupling Driven by Dose‐Dependent Electroacupuncture

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Disrupted neurovascular coupling contributes to ovarian dysfunction in polycystic ovary syndrome. Using near‑infrared II long‑wavelength imaging, this study visualizes how electroacupuncture dynamically regulates ovarian blood vessels in vivo. Immediate and cumulative stimulation elicit distinct vascular responses via a Netrin‐1 dependent mechanism ...

ZMAT1 Promotes Osteoclastogenesis Through TRIM46 Mediated YAP1 Degradation and Inhibits Osteoblastogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Zmat1 deficiency mitigates pathological bone loss by impairing osteoclastogenesis and promoting osteoblastogenesis. Mechanistically, in osteoclasts, Zmat1 loss relieves transcriptional repression of the E3 ligase TRIM46, promoting YAP1 degradation and inhibiting osteoclastogenic genes.

Kinematic Reconstruction of a Deep-Seated Gravitational Slope Deformation by Geomorphic Analyses

open access: yesGeosciences, 2018
On 4 November 2010, a deep-seated gravitational slope deformation (North Italy) reactivated with sudden ground movement. A 450,000 m2 mountainous area moved some metres downslope, but the undeniable signs were only connected to the triggering of a debris
