Morquio Syndrome is an autosomal recessive lysosomal storage disease. It is one of the subgroup of mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS IV). Anesthesiologist usually deal with patients diagnosed Morquio Syndrome as they require repeated anesthesia administrations for adenoid and tonsil hypertrophia or ortophedic procedures.
