Designing Surface Coating Strategies with Tungsten on Single Crystal NMC Materials by XPS
The compounds Li2WO4 and Li4NiWO6 are identified on the surface of tungsten‐coated single crystal NMC cathode materials. It is shown that Li4NiWO6 is preferred for materials with the best performance. Synthesis routes to obtain materials with either surface species are presented.

Ti/Mg doping strategy for inhibiting harmful phase transition effect of LiCoO2 materials has been developed.
