decays within the standard model and beyond
Motivated by the LHCb measurement of the hyperon decay mode Σ+→pμ+μ− and prospects for improvement, we revisit the estimates for the rate and muon forward-backward asymmetry within the standard model and beyond. The standard model prediction has a fourfold ambiguity, and we suggest ways to resolve it with other measurements, including possible studies ...

This study characterizes the responses of primary acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patient samples to the MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665. The results revealed that monocytic differentiation is associated with MIK665 sensitivity. Conversely, elevated ABCB1 expression is a potential biomarker of resistance to the treatment, which can be overcome by the combination ...

Plasma‐based detection of actionable mutations is a promising approach in lung cancer management. Analysis of ctDNA with a multigene NGS panel identified TP53, KRAS, and EGFR as the most frequently altered, with TP53 and KRAS in treatment‐naïve patients and TP53 and EGFR in previously treated patients.

Matter and dark matter are unified under the framework of SU(6)→SU(5)×U(1)N. A dark-matter candidate is possible, not because it is stable, but because it has a very long lifetime, in analogy to that of the proton in theories of grand unification. A specific example is presented.

Evidence for a vector charmoniumlike state in
We report the measurement of e+e−→Ds+Ds2*(2573)−+c.c. via initial-state radiation using a data sample of an integrated luminosity of 921.9 fb−1 collected with the Belle detector at the ϒ(4S) and nearby. We find evidence for an enhancement with a 3.4σ significance in the invariant mass of Ds+Ds2*(2573)−+c.c.

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Ultraviolet to infrared evolution and nonperturbative behavior of chiral gauge theories
We analyze the ultraviolet to infrared evolution and nonperturbative properties of asymptotically free SU(N)⊗SU(N−4)⊗U(1) chiral gauge theories with Nf copies of chiral fermions transforming according to ([2]N,1)N−4+([1¯]N,[1¯]N−4)−(N−2)+(1,(2)N−4)N, where [k]N and (k)N denote the antisymmetric and symmetric rank−k tensor representations of SU(N) and ...
