The Practical dimensions of youth policy implementation in Poland on the example of Europe4Youth Association

open access: yesYouth in Central and Eastern Europe, 2021
This article aims to present the role and importance of youth policy and how youth organisations can practically implement it on a local and regional level, on the example of Association Europe4Youth (Kraków, Poland).

Enhanced Bq and B(K,π) in light of (g2)μ

open access: yesPhysical Review, 2023
We study lepton flavor violating (LFV) B decays in a general two Higgs doublet model with sub-TeV exotic scalars. Two different parameter spaces are explored: one dominated by extra top Yukawa coupling ρtt, the other by LFV couplings relevant for the muon g−2 anomaly. In the first case, flavor constraints such as ℓ→ℓ′γ, h→ℓℓ′ imply LFV B decays are far

MoS₂ decoration by Mo-atoms and the MoS₂-Mo-graphene heterostructure: a theoretical study.

open access: yesPhysical chemistry chemical physics : PCCP, 2015
Here we propose a completely new covalent heterostructure based on graphene and self-decorated MoS2 monolayers. Detailed investigation of the decoration process of the MoS2 surface by Mo adatoms was performed using first principles DFT methods. Comparison between valence-only and semicore pseudopotentials was performed to correctly describe the ...

Precision control of miniature SCARA robots for multi-object spectrographs

open access: yesInternational Journal of Optomechatronics, 2020
Advances in astronomy led to the demand for measuring the spectra of multiple night sky objects simultaneously. Some of these Multi-Object Spectrographs use robotic systems that position optical fibers in the focal plane of the observing telescope. These

Precise measurement of the branching fractions of J/ψΛ¯π+Σ+c.c. and J/ψΛ¯πΣ++c.c.

open access: yesPhysical Review, 2023
Based on a data sample of (10087±44)×106 J/ψ events collected with the BESIII detector, the branching fraction of J/ψ→Λ¯π+Σ−+c.c. is measured to be (1.221±0.002±0.038)×10−3, and the branching fraction of its isospin partner mode J/ψ→Λ¯π−Σ++c.c. is measured to be (1.244±0.002±0.045)×10−3 with improved precision.

E-model MOS Estimate Improvement through Jitter Buffer Packet Loss Modelling

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2011
Proposed article analyses dependence of MOS as a voice call quality (QoS) measure estimated through ITU-T E-model under real network conditions with jitter. In this paper, a method of jitter effect is proposed.

Contribution of the vector meson to the ϒ(nS)d¯*(2380)+X decay channel

open access: yesPhysical Review, 2019
d*(2380) was observed by WASA-at-COSY collaborations in the nuclear reaction recently. Its particularly narrow width may indicate the new QCD-allowed hadronic structure. To further confirm the existence of this peculiar particle in a totally different kind of reaction, ϒ(nS)→d¯*(2380)+X, the contribution from the vector meson should also be considered.

Multiple Transcoding Impact on Speech Quality in Ideal Network Conditions

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2015
This paper deals with the impact of transcoding on the speech quality. We have focused mainly on the transcoding between codecs without the negative influence of the network parameters such as packet loss and delay.

Measurement of lepton universality parameters in B+K++ and B0K*0+ decays

open access: yesPhysical Review, 2023
A simultaneous analysis of the B+→K+ℓ+ℓ− and B0→K*0ℓ+ℓ− decays is performed to test muon-electron universality in two ranges of the square of the dilepton invariant mass, q2. The measurement uses a sample of beauty meson decays produced in proton-proton collisions collected with the LHCb detector between 2011 and 2018, corresponding to an integrated ...
