Genetic epilepsies with myoclonic seizures: Mechanisms and syndromes
Abstract Genetic epilepsy with myoclonic seizures encompasses a heterogeneous spectrum of conditions, ranging from benign and self‐limiting forms to severe, progressive disorders. While their causes are diverse, a significant proportion stems from genetic abnormalities.

Mosaic trisomy 13 and a sacral appendage
Mosaic trisomy 13 occurs when there is a percentage of trisomic cells for an entire chromosome 13, while the remaining percentage of cells is euploid. The prevalence of this syndrome ranges from 1 in 10 000 to 1 in 20 000 births.

SLC7A6OS Founder Mutation: A Rare Cause of Progressive Myoclonus Epilepsy Dated to 1100 Years Ago
Abstract Background SLC7A6OS c.191A>G is a rare, autosomal recessive cause of progressive myoclonus epilepsy (PME). The c.191A>G variant, first discovered in two families from Türkiye and Portugal, was recently identified in three additional probands from the USA, all of Puerto Rican ancestry.

Cytogenetic and Molecular Findings in Hydrops‐Related Mirror Syndrome
ABSTRACT Objective Mirror syndrome is a rare, life‐threatening condition in which maternal fluid overload mirrors fetal hydrops. Data on genetic findings in affected pregnancies are limited. We compared genetic diagnoses in hydrops cases with and without mirror syndrome.

Genetic Investigation in Fetal Growth Restriction: An Integrated Approach for Clinical Practice
ABSTRACT International guidelines recommend genetic testing when fetal growth restriction (FGR) accompanies structural anomalies, but recommendations for apparently isolated FGR remain variable, particularly regarding gestational age thresholds and the role of exome sequencing (ES). Interpretation is difficult because studies define FGR inconsistently,
