Fragments and dust after Holmium laser lithotripsy with or without “Moses technology”: How are they different?

open access: yesJournal of Biophotonics, 2018
Urinary stones can be readily disintegrated by Holmium:YAG laser (Holmium laser lithotripsy), resulting in a mixture of small stone dust particles, which will spontaneously evacuate with urine and larger residual fragments (RF) requiring mechanical ...

InGaP/GaAs/InGaAs Multijunction Flexible Photovoltaics With Chemical Robustness and Radiation Hardness for Unassisted Electrocatalysis and Space Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
A flexible InGaP/GaAs/InGaAs triple‐junction platform encapsulated with ultrathin glass enables unassisted electrocatalysis and space applications by providing robust protection against chemically aggressive and radiation‐rich environments. This work establishes a unified III–V multijunction photovoltaic platform that bridges space photovoltaics and ...

Massive seafloor mounds depict potential for seafloor mineral deposits in the Great South Basin (GSB) offshore New Zealand

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2021
Seafloor mounds are enigmatic features along many continental margins and are often interpreted as gas hydrate pingoes, seep deposits, mud volcanoes, or hydrothermal mounds.

A Highly Hydrophilic Air Electrode With Water‐Induced Surface Reconstruction for Efficient Reversible Protonic Ceramic Cell at Low Water Partial Pressures

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates a new strategy for reversible protonic ceramic cells (R‐PCCs). By developing highly hydrophilic oxides, efficient operation is achieved under low water vapor pressures while maintaining high performance and stability. This approach addresses the challenge of hydrogen production in freshwater‐scarce regions.

A Global Prospective Harmonization Framework for Suicidality, Anhedonia, and Obsessive‐Compulsive Symptoms in Psychiatric Genetic Studies: A Cross‐Continental Study Within the Ancestral Population Network

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Medical Genetics Part B: Neuropsychiatric Genetics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study aims to prospectively collect harmonized, quantitative, and dimensional psychiatric phenotypes (suicidality, anhedonia, and obsessive‐compulsive symptoms) and information on discrimination, stigma, and unfair treatment in up to 27,500 individuals across diverse ancestries and clinical populations for genetic analysis within the NIMH

Motion sensing superpixels (MOSES) is a systematic computational framework to quantify and discover cellular motion phenotypes

open access: yeseLife, 2019
Correct cell/cell interactions and motion dynamics are fundamental in tissue homeostasis, and defects in these cellular processes cause diseases. Therefore, there is strong interest in identifying factors, including drug candidates that affect cell/cell ...

‘We Are Australia’: Unpacking Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People's Understandings and Experiences of Australian Identity

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Social Issues, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are the oldest living custodians in the world. However, Australian identity has been purposefully established to exclude Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, contributing to systemic oppression and harmful consequences. Understanding the perspectives and experiences of Aboriginal and Torres

Passivierung von Defektzuständen in organischen n‐Typ‐Ladungstransferkomplexen durch molekularen Sauerstoff

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
