Kaole Mosques

The city of Kaole was occupied between the 13th and 16th cen. CE and is located in the Bagamoyo District of the Tanzania. It is located close to the historic site of Bagamoyo. The name of the site, according to local lore, is based on the Zaramo word for "go and see".
