A synergistic electrolyte engineering strategy of employing ethyl acetate (EA) with vinylene carbonate (VC) as multifunctional additives is initially pioneered, making various as‐prepared high‐voltage wide‐temperature sodium batteries work well via the formation of a gradient and temperature‐robust interphase.

This work introduces a regionally localized electrolyte (RLE) that spatially separates ether‐ and carbonate‐based functions to stabilize both Li metal and high‐voltage cathodes. An immobilized ether‐rich layer directs Li+ transport, activates LiNO3 locally, and forms a uniform LiF‐rich SEI, enabling lower overpotential, uniform deposition, and long ...

A preliminary study of bryophytes in the Khao Soi Dao wildlife sanctuary, Chanthaburi Province, Thailand [PDF]
An investigation of bryophyte diversity of Khao Soi Dao wildlife sanctuary, Chanthaburi Province, Thailand was carried out in April 2013. In total, 387 specimens were enumerated, consisting of 103 species (45 liverworts, 1 hornwort, 57 mosses), 67 ...

Disturbances of ionic equilibrium in mosses of contaminated areas
Mosses are sensitive and precise bioindicators of heavy metals contamination of the environment. They accumulate in their tissues large amounts of these elements than do higher plants.

Determination of heavy metal deposition in the county of Obrenovac (Serbia) using mosses as bioindicators, III: Copper (Cu), Iron (Fe) and Mercury (Hg) [PDF]
In this study, the deposition of three heavy metals (Cu, Fe and Hg) in four moss taxa (Bryum argenteum, Bryum capillare, Brachythecium sp. and Hypnum cupressiforme) in the county of Obrenovac (Serbia) is presented. The distribution of average heavy metal

Mosses as extraordinary reservoir of microbial diversity: a comparative analysing of co-occurring 'plant-moss twins' in natural alpine ecosystem. [PDF]
The decline in plant biodiversity is evident at global scale, but little is known about the loss of microbial diversity associated with diverse plant phyla and their influencing factors.

This study examines how a PVDF‐like binder affects the argyrodite Li6PS5Cl electrolyte properties. Using an approach that combines bulk and surface characterization with electrochemistry, we found a chemical interaction between Li6PS5Cl and PVDF, resulting in partial chlorine substitution by fluorine and slightly reduced ionic conductivity.

Classic MIKC-type MADS-box genes (MIKC(c)) play diverse and crucial roles in angiosperm development, the most studied and best understood of which is the specification of floral organ identities. To shed light on how the flower evolved, phylogenetic and functional analyses of genes involved in its ontogeny, such as the MIKC(c) genes, must be undertaken
