Investigation Into the Electrochemical Performance of Micron‐ and Nanosized Tin in Diglyme and Carbonate Electrolytes in Sodium Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
This study compares Sn particles of different sizes in NIBs using carbonate‐ and diglyme‐based electrolytes. Diglyme electrolytes enable stable cycling despite large volume changes, while carbonate electrolytes degrade rapidly, especially with nanoparticles.

High‐Performance Elastomeric Lithium Metal Anodes Enabled by a Lithiophilic Monolayer‐Assembled Nano‐Crumpled Micro‐Concave Architecture

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
We report an elastomeric lithium metal anode integrating hierarchical nano–micro architectures with uniformly assembled lithiophilic amine functionalities. This design enables synergistic stress and interfacial regulation, effectively suppresses dendritic growth, and ensures stable cycling, highlighting elastomeric anodes as a promising platform for ...

Shedding light on the diversity of epiphytic mosses in some Mexican forests

open access: yesBotan‪ical Sciences
Background: Epiphytic mosses are one of the most common groups in forest environments but among the most neglected by researchers in Mexico. Questions: What is the epiphytic mosses diversity, measured in richness, turnover, and community composition ...

Agricultural Diversification at the Margin. Strategies and Determinants in Italian Mountain and Remote Areas

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper explores the convergence in on‐farm diversification strategies of agricultural holdings, between remote areas and more central ones. Using Italian farm‐level data, we explore the determinants of diversification strategies across farms.

Mosses from the Mascarenes - 7 : a small collection from Rodrigues

open access: yes, 1999
Fifteen taxa of mosses are reported from the island of Rodrigues. The second African report of Luisierella barbula (Schwaegr.) Steere bridges the Asian and New World disjunctions of this taxon. Three other species are reported new to the Mascarenes, i.e.,

Reconfiguring Fresh Produce Supply Chains in Response to Drought Risk: Evidence From the U.S. Broccoli Market

open access: yesAgribusiness, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Drought is among the most severe and persistent threats to food supply chains, and relocating production to less drought‐prone regions offers a strategy to reduce this risk. This is particularly relevant for fresh vegetables, which are highly water‐intensive, yet drought‐driven reconfiguration strategies remain understudied.
