An Efficient Eulerian Video Magnification Technique for Micro-biology Applications [PDF]
The micro-biology videos often contain motions of particles which are not visible to naked eye. Therefore an efficient motion magnification technique is required to magnify these motions.

Augmented reality guidance in cerebrovascular surgery using microscopic video enhancement
Cerebrovascular surgery treats vessel abnormalities in the brain and spinal cord, including arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) and aneurysms. These procedures often involve clipping the vessels feeding blood to these abnormalities, making accurate ...

Image Motion Extraction of Structures Using Computer Vision Techniques: A Comparative Study
Vibrational measurements play an important role for structural health monitoring, e.g., modal extraction and damage diagnosis. Moreover, conditions of civil structures can be mostly assessed by displacement responses.

3D Motion Magnification: Visualizing Subtle Motions with Time-Varying Radiance Fields
Motion magnification helps us visualize subtle, imperceptible motion. However, prior methods only work for 2D videos captured with a fixed camera. We present a 3D motion magnification method that can magnify subtle motions from scenes captured by a moving camera, while supporting novel view rendering.

Micro-Expression Motion Magnification: Global Lagrangian vs. Local Eulerian Approaches
Micro-expressions are difficult to spot but are utterly important for engaging in a conversation or negotiation. Through motion magnification, these expressions become much more distinguishable and easily recognized.

Surgical Video Motion Magnification with Suppression of Instrument Artefacts [PDF]
Video motion magnification can make blood vessels in surgical video more apparent by exaggerating their pulsatile motion and could prevent inadvertent damage and bleeding due to their increased prominence.

ABSTRACT Introduction Pre‐dilution online hemodiafiltration (Pre‐HDF) is predominantly used in Japan, whereas post‐dilution online HDF (Post‐HDF) is more common in Europe. An asymmetric cellulose triacetate (ATA) membrane may improve biocompatibility.

Video Motion Magnification to Improve the Accuracy of Vision-Based Vibration Measurements [PDF]
Video motion magnification (MM) allows to turn a tiny movement recorded on video into an easily visible displacement. In this work, such techniques are employed to decrease the uncertainty of vision-based motion measurements.
