EulerMormer: Robust Eulerian Motion Magnification via Dynamic Filtering within Transformer
Video Motion Magnification (VMM) aims to break the resolution limit of human visual perception capability and reveal the imperceptible minor motion that contains valuable information in the macroscopic domain.

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Finger vein liveness detection using motion magnification [PDF]
Finger vein recognition has emerged as an accurate and reliable biometric modality that was deployed in various security applications. However, the use of finger vein recognition also indicated its vulnerability to presentation attacks (or direct attacks).

Hydrostatic pressure activates HIF‐1α via β‐catenin to promote stemness in breast cancer cells
To mimic the elevated intestinal fluid pressure in breast cancers, we loaded human breast cancer cells (MCF‐7, MDA‐MB‐453, and BT‐474) to 50 mmHg hydrostatic pressure. Hydrostatic pressure exposure upregulated HIF‐1α and induced stemness in MCF‐7 and BT‐474 cells.

Dynamic magnification factors for tree blow-down by powder snow avalanche air blasts [PDF]
We study how short duration powder avalanche blasts can break and overturn tall trees. Tree blow-down is often used to back-calculate avalanche pressure and therefore constrain avalanche flow velocity and motion.

How Do Deepfakes Move? Motion Magnification for Deepfake Source Detection
With the proliferation of deep generative models, deepfakes are improving in quality and quantity everyday. However, there are subtle authenticity signals in pristine videos, not replicated by SOTA GANs.
