Shielding weakening of high-velocity fluid against precipitation-static

open access: yesEngineering Applications of Computational Fluid Mechanics
Recent experiments have demonstrated that high-density space charge around a structure can shield precipitation-static on the structure’s surface, while high-velocity fluid can weaken this shielding effect.

Fully Additive Vertical Organic Electrochemical Transistors on Renewable and Compostable Substrates Enable Ultrasensitive Bioelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Fully additive vertical organic electrochemical transistors (vOECTs) with channel‐length of 226 nm on a 50 µm compostable substrate achieve >106 current modulation and ∼36 mS transconductance. Ion‐selective integration enables 1.1 mA dec−1 sensitivity and 36 µm detection limit, highlighting a scalable platform for sustainable electronics and ...

Significance of 3D rectangular closed domain filled with charged particles and nanoparticles engaging finite element methodology

open access: yesOpen Physics
This article aims to use passive flow control to analyze the transportation of heat, mass, and charged particles toward a 3D plate. The current problem offers a novel exploration of the flexible domain of non-Newtonian materials, which are well known for

Chemical State Detection and Charge Transfer in Complex Oxide Heterostructures via In Situ Auger Electron Spectroscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In situ Auger Electron Spectroscopy resolves oxidation states with high fidelity during the pulsed laser deposition of multivalent perovskite manganate and vanadate heterostructures. The chemical‐state signature is carried by the valence‐electron population of the transition‐metal cation, read out through the relative intensities of Auger fine ...

Introduction in Nanoparticle Physics with a Focus on Combustion-derived Particles

open access: yesCHIMIA
A brief introduction to the behaviour of particles in gas suspension (aerosols) will be given. In particular the influence of the particle size on the interaction of the particle with the surrounding gas, which determines the motion of the particle as ...

Curled orbit and epicyclic oscillation of charged particles around the weakly magnetized black hole in the presence of Lorentz violation

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
In this paper, we investigate the motion of charged particles around the weakly magnetized Schwarzschild-like bumblebee black hole which has Lorentz symmetry breaking.

Electrode and Microstructure Dependence of Oxygen Diffusion in Ferroelectric Hafnium Zirconium Oxide Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Significant nanoscale oxygen diffusion coefficient variations are measured in ferroelectric hafnium zirconium oxide films with grain boundaries and electrode interfaces exhibiting values 104 times larger than the grain cores. Overall coefficients are 10X larger for films prepared with metal nitride electrodes compared to refractory metals. New insights

A note on circular geodesics and phase transitions of black holes

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2019
The circular motion of charged test particles in the gravitational field of a Reissner-Nordström black hole in Anti de Sitter space-time is investigated, using a set of independent parameters, such as charge Q, mass M and cosmological constant Λ=−3/l2 of
