Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Spinless Particles in Exponentially Varying Electric and Magnetic Fields
We investigate the motion of the charged spin-0 particles subjected to the space-dependent electric and magnetic fields. By selecting the external fields oriented parallel and orthogonal to each other, exact solutions of the motion are obtained for the ...

The origin of large amplitude oscillations of dust particles in a plasma sheath
Micron-size charged particles can be easily levitated in low-density plasma environments. At low pressures, suspended particles have been observed to spontaneously oscillate around an equilibrium position. In systems of many particles, these oscillations

Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Motion of test particles in a regular black hole space--time
We consider the motion of test particles in the regular black hole space-time given by Ay\'{o}n-Beato and Garc\'{\i}a in Phys. Rev. Lett. 80:5056 (1998). The complete set of orbits for neutral and weakly charged test particles is discussed, including for

Thermoreflectance Detection of Point Defects Resulting from Focused Ion Beam Milling
Focused ion beam (FIB) milling is a common tool for nanoscale material processing, however irradiation damage, redeposition, and contamination can occur. We use several characterization tools to show FIB‐induced effects beyond 1 mm from the milled area.

Significance of intra-fractional motion for pancreatic patients treated with charged particles
Background Uncertainties associated with the delivery of treatment to moving organs might compromise the accuracy of treatment. This study explores the impact of intra-fractional anatomical changes in pancreatic patients treated with charged particles ...
