Advanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.CT‐based finite element simulations combined with in situ X‐ray computed tomography are used to analyze insert pull‐out in nickel‐coated polymer foams. Thus far, the commercialization of ICFSs has been constrained by fiber fabrication routes.
