Precise Control of Drug Release in Machine Learning‐Designed Antibody‐Eluting Implants for Postoperative Scarring Inhibition in Glaucoma

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
We developed a micro‐sized, biocompatible implant for postoperative sustained delivery of anti‐fibrotic antibodies in glaucoma surgery. Machine learning‐guided optimization of polymer composition, implant geometry, and porosity enabled precise control of drug release.

Tunicate‐Inspired Carboxymethyl Cellulose Hydrogel Filler for Treating Age‐Associated Vocal Fold Atrophy

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
The pyrogallol‐conjugated carboxymethylcellulose (CMC‐PG) hydrogel is applicated as a filler for the treatment of presbylaryngis, a vocal fold atrophy. CMC‐PG provides a bulking effect to the vocal folds. CMC‐PG is readily injectable and tissue adhesive, enabling sustained release of growth factor over long period.

Formulating Smart All‐in‐One Chitosan Hydrogel for High Performance Wound Dressing

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
An innovative approach to fabricating a thermosensitive, highly swelling, degradable, and antibacterial hydrogel composed of a chitosan‐g‐NIPAAm/PVA/PVP copolymer, integrated with AgNPs, for use in wound dressing applications. The hydrogel demonstrates enhanced performance, accelerating the wound healing process.
