Influence of the forming process of corrugated stainless steels on their corrosion behaviour in simulated pore solutions [PDF]
Stainless steels are formed by either hot working (HW) or cold working (CW) when used as reinforcement for concrete structures. The influence of the forming process on the corrosion behaviour is analyzed in depth in the present work. CW and HW corrugated

The facet‐engineered ZnO/Zn3In2S6 heterostructure, dominated by {001} plane coupling, exposes abundant unsaturated Zn sites with elongated Zn─O bonds, directing photoexcited charge carriers along an S‐scheme pathway and suppressing recombination. Enhanced interfacial Zn adsorption toward bisphenol A and methylene blue further synergistically promotes ...

Two isomorphic COFs were synthesized and compared, including an amphoteric COF (SQ‐TAPT) and a neutral COF (PDA‐TAPT). The ionic bonds in SQ‐TAPT introduce more Born effective charges, thereby enhancing its ionic displacement polarization. Experimental and theoretical calculations demonstrated that SQ‐TAPT exhibited higher polarity and stronger ...

Influence of Schottky contact on the C-V and J-V characteristics of HTM-free perovskite solar cells
The influence of the Schottky contact is studied for hole transport material (HTM) free CH3NH3PbI3 perovskite solar cells (PSCs), by using drift-diffusion and small signal models.

Oxygen doping-induced photogeneration loss in P3HT:PCBM solar cells [PDF]
This work investigates the loss in performance induced by molecular oxygen in bulk heterojunction solar cells. We observe that upon exposure to molecular oxygen both formation of P3HT+:O2− complex and metal oxidation at the interface between the active ...

A reactive in situ solution complexation strategy reconstructs the surface of 2.0 eV ultra‐wide‐bandgap perovskites via proton transfer. This chemical modulation eliminates metallic defects and induces a degenerate‐like n‐type surface, establishing an Ohmic tunneling contact.

Solution-processed amorphous niobium oxide as a novel electron collection layer for inverted polymer solar cells [PDF]
Amorphous niobium oxide (NbOx) as an electron collection layer in inverted polymer solar cells was prepared by a solution process. The power conversion efficiency of inverted polymer solar cells based on a blend of poly(3-hexylthiophene) and [6,6]-phenyl

Single‐ and Dual‐Atom Configurations in Atomically Dispersed Catalysts for Lithium–Sulfur Batteries
Single‐atom and dual‐atom‐based atomically dispersed catalysts (ADCs) effectively address the shuttle effect and sluggish redox kinetics in Li–S batteries. With nearly 100% atomic utilization and tunable coordination environments, ADCs enhance LiPSs adsorption, lower conversion barriers, and accelerate sulfur redox reactions.
