Unlocking Nanoscale Microstructural Detail in Aluminum Alloys Through Differential Phase Contrast Segmentation in STEM

Small Methods, EarlyView.
Differential phase contrast (DPC) imaging in STEM is demonstrated as a rapid, versatile segmentation tool for advanced aluminum alloys. Decomposition of false‐color DPC micrographs resolves nanoclusters, precipitate variants, dislocation strain fields, nanostructures, and grain boundaries ‐ all within a single and fast acquisition.

Phase‐Controllable Synthesis and Property Modulation of Two‐Dimensional PAs3S3 Crystal

For the first time, phase‐controllable synthesis of 2D inorganic molecular crystals PAs3S3 are successfully realized by kinetics‐controlled vertical microspacing sublimation method. Posidonia oceanica Leaves as a Natural Filler for Poly(Butylene Succinate‐Co‐Adipate) Composites: Characterization and Biodegradation Assessment in Seawater

This study shows that incorporating 5–10 wt.% Posidonia oceanica, with or without micro‐talc, in PBSA preserves thermal stability, modifying crystallization behavior, and maintains good filler dispersion and interfacial adhesion. Mechanical properties are moderately stiffened.
